Dr. Josh Blaesi grew up in the Midwest, surrounded by animals of all sizes. This upbringing sparked a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine and ultimately inspired him to pursue it as his career.
He completed the first two years of veterinary school at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln before transitioning to Iowa State University, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2026. Dr. Blaesi's professional interests include dentistry, dermatology, orthopedics, and canine rehabilitation.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Blaesi enjoys spending quality time with his fiancée and two sons, which they welcomed during his veterinary program. Whether they're exploring new activities and adventures or enjoying a cozy evening at home watching Paw Patrol his family remains at the center of his life.
Dr. Blaesi is also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and enjoys the freedom and excitement of riding whenever he can. On warmer days, you may even spot him arriving at the clinic on his motorcycle!
